From January 2009 - October 2009, the Scottish Sensory Centre will be running an online version of the new CACDP Level 3 Certificate in Modifying Written English Texts for Deaf People. The L304 module, 'Accessible English for Deaf and Deafblind People' may be of interest to notetakers who wish to upgrade their existing notetaking qualifications to the new level 3 award and is available as a standalone unit.

At their General Meeting in February 2008, the Scottish Association of Sign Language Interpreters (SASLI) membership voted to extend the membership categories. This means that Electronic Notetakers are now eligible to join SASLI as Affiliate members.
